This painting relates to a self-directed project which was to create illustrations for the novel "Life of Pi" by Yann Martel.
In this image my intention was to convey the size and ferocity of the tiger (whose name is Richard Parker) against the vulnerability and inevitable fate of the goat.
This image was created using acrylic paints.
